Pilot remote learning factory session

On November 15 we launched the pilot testing session of a remote learning factory project focused on declarative programming and its practical application in control of a Universal Robots (UR) collaborative robot using the Business Process Model and Notation (BPMN) process diagrams implemented within the Camunda open-source platform. The session was lead by our team member Titanilla Komenda from TUW and tested the skills of several students from STUBA and FEUP. It consisted of an overview of theoretical concepts using a dedicated learning nugget on the EITM’s Skills.move platform, followed by a practical programming part with deployment in the remote laboratory. Despite some technical challenges it certainly has been a very interesting hands-on experience and we already look forward to the next trials!
