Pilot workshops at STUBA Learning Factory

In December the Slovak FactoRIS team held a series of pilot workshops titled Learning Factory for Smart Manufacturing. Each workshop consisted of 3 modules with the following content:

Module 1 – Improving production capacities of enterprises using digital twin technology

Module 2 – Automatic visual quality control for defects minimization in batch production

Module 3 – Predictive maintenance based on machine vibration monitoring

The workshops on December 3 and 10 were organized as hands-on courses with active in-person participation of the enrolled learners. Due to pandemic restrictions and given a high interest of companies, the workshops on December 16 and 17 had to be organized as online courses. Despite this fact, they were a success and created a valuable remote learning experience thanks to Microsoft Teams and namely the Skills.move platforms with the online learning content organized into 9 digital learning (information, activity and quizz) nuggets. Overall, the workshops welcomed more than 70 participants from small, medium-sized and large companies, but also several high-school and university teachers and students. We have to say the feedback has been great and look forward to future workshops in the STUBA Learning Factory Industry 4.0!

Update: On December 20 we were again able to organize a hands-on course for 10 participants who enjoyed it as much as we did:-)
